The new ZXiU Utility Irons are powerful long iron replacements built to perform even in tour pros' bags. Designed in a blade-like shape with moderate offset, they deliver signature Srixon feel alongside higher launch and excellent forgiveness - giving golfers the confidence to attack long-iron distances without the difficulty traditionally associated with that end of the bag. Every ZXiU face and body is forged at Endo in Japan, the gold standard in iron craftsmanship, ensuring a premium, consistent build across the set.
Feel and strength come from Srixon's i-Forged construction, where condensed forging stretches from the high-toe area along the topline to enhance overall strength, durability and feel, while the forged faces themselves are softened for an already exceptional touch. Behind that face sits Mainframe iQ, a variable-thickness network of grooves, channels and notches precision-milled into the back of the clubhead. At impact, these features flex together to maximise energy transfer, producing more ball speed more consistently across the entire face - not just from the centre. Underneath, the Tour V.T. Sole combines specific sole widths, bounce angles and notches to help the club glide smoothly through fairway, rough and sand, maintaining speed even when contact is made slightly behind the ball.
Shaping has been refined in line with Srixon's tour staff, giving the ZXiU a cleaner, more exacting profile with slightly thinner toplines than the previous generation. The set is available with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Mid 100 steel shaft or a Mitsubishi MMT Utility 90/80 graphite shaft across X, S and R flexes, both tuned for a mid launch and mid spin trajectory, and comes fitted with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip for a secure, tour-standard feel in the hands.
