Before getting in touch, take a look at our Condition Guide. It will help you accurately grade your clubs so we can provide the most accurate valuation possible. If you're unsure, our team is always happy to help.

If you'd like to go ahead, we'll send you a personalised trade-in quote by email. This will include the clubs you're trading in, their agreed condition, your valuation. Once you've reviewed and confirmed the quote, we'll arrange your FREE return.

When your clubs arrive with us, our team will carefully inspect them to make sure they match the agreed condition and valuation. We'll then process your trade-in as quickly as possible. Once your trade-in has been verified, we'll contact you to confirm everything is complete.

You can then use your trade-in credit towards your next purchase. If you need any help choosing your next clubs or using your trade-in credit, our team will be happy to assist.

CONDITION GUIDE

Please refer to the condition guide below before submitting your trade-in valuation request. If you are unsure which category applies to your clubs, our team can assist you.

New - The club has not been used.

  • No signs of wear.
  • May remain in original packaging.
  • Factory wrapping, tags, or protective film may still be present.

Excellent - Minimal use, in outstanding condition.

  • Light marking only; minimal wear visible.
  • Slight strike marks may appear on the face or sole.
  • Crown, topline, and head remain in excellent cosmetic condition.
  • Grip and shaft show little to no wear.

Good - Regularly used, well maintained.

  • Standard wear consistent with regular play, including marking on the face and sole.
  • Cosmetic marks may be present on the head, crown, or topline; no structural damage.
  • Steel shafts may show light marking; graphite shafts may show minor scuffing.
  • Grip remains in good, playable condition.

Fair - Fully functional, with visible wear.

  • Noticeable cosmetic wear on the head, face, or sole.
  • Woods may show light scratching or sky marks; irons may show groove or paint wear.
  • Shafts may show scratching, light rust (steel), or bag wear (graphite).
  • Grip is usable but shows reduced tackiness.

Poor - Functional, with significant wear.

  • Heavy scratching or wear across the clubhead.
  • Extensive wear to face and grooves.
  • Minor chips or dents permitted, provided playability is unaffected.
  • Shaft shows clear signs of age, including rust (steel) or heavy bag wear (graphite).
  • Grip is worn and likely requires replacement.

Unacceptable - Not eligible for trade-in.

  • Cracked, loose, or structurally damaged clubheads.
  • Damage affecting safety or performance.
  • Missing components (e.g. weights, badges, ferrules).
  • Heavy corrosion or shaft damage.
  • Mismatched shafts within a set.
  • Incomplete sets.
  • Grips unfit for use.

Which clubs can I trade in?

We accept trade-ins on the vast majority of golf clubs, though a small number of brands or models may fall outside what we can offer credit for, and clubs in very poor condition won't be eligible. If you're unsure whether your clubs qualify, just get in touch with our team and they'll let you know before you go any further.


What details do I need to provide for a quote?

To give you an accurate price, we'll need the full picture of what you're trading in: the brand and model, whether it's right or left-handed, loft, how the set is made up, shaft type, grip condition, and whether you have the original headcover. If your clubs have been custom fitted, details like shaft length, lie angle, or grip size also help us value them correctly.


How is the value of my clubs worked out?

Our team uses current market pricing alongside a clear condition grading system to work out what your clubs are worth. They're experienced at assessing wear and tear accurately, and can talk you through how your clubs have been graded if you're not sure what condition they fall into.


How long will the whole process take?

Typically, it takes up 5 working days from accepting your quote to receiving your trade-in credit. That covers us arranging collection of your clubs at no cost to you, checking them over on arrival, and getting your new order sorted with the credit applied.


What happens if my clubs arrive in worse condition than expected?

If our team finds your clubs don't quite match the condition stated in your original quote, we'll get in touch with an updated valuation for you to approve. Happy to go ahead? Great, we'll proceed. Not happy with the revised offer? We'll send your clubs back to you, though a small £4.99 return postage charge applies in this case.
