Why the PRG X Guinness Collection Belongs in Your Bag
Golf accessories don't have to be serious, and the PRG X Guinness collection makes that point better than most. Here's what makes this range worth adding to your setup.
Two Names That Need No Introduction
PRG has built its reputation on golf accessories that bring humour, personality, and lifestyle culture onto the course - products that make the game more enjoyable without taking anything away from the round itself. Pairing that approach with Guinness, one of the world's most beloved and instantly recognisable brands, produces a collection that lands immediately with golfers who appreciate both. The Guinness branding is officially licensed, which means the iconic imagery and identity is used properly rather than as a vague nod.
PRG X Guinness Headcovers: Personality From the First Tee
PRG X Guinness headcovers are the kind of accessory that gets noticed. Where most headcovers blend into the background, a Guinness-branded cover on your driver or fairway wood is a conversation starter from the moment you pull it off the tee. PRG designs its headcovers to fit standard club heads securely and protect your clubs properly - so the novelty appeal doesn't come at the expense of the practical job a headcover is supposed to do. If your current headcovers could do with a bit more character, this is one of the most enjoyable upgrades you can make to your bag.
PRG X Guinness Golf Towels: The Detail That Ties It Together
A PRG X Guinness golf towel is one of those accessories that's surprisingly visible on the course - clipped to your bag and on display for the whole round. The Guinness branding makes it one of the more distinctive towels you'll find in any bag on the course, and a matching towel alongside a Guinness headcover pulls the whole look together in a way that's fun without being overdone. It's a practical item too - a good golf towel earns its place across every round regardless of the branding on it.
Officially Licensed - The Real Thing
The Guinness branding across the PRG collection is officially licensed, which matters more than it might seem. Officially licensed products use the actual Guinness identity - the iconic harp, the typography, the colour palette - accurately and with the same attention to the brand's visual standards that you'd expect from Guinness itself. You're not getting a vague approximation of the brand; you're getting the real thing applied to golf accessories with genuine care. For collectors and fans of the brand, that distinction is worth paying attention to.
The Perfect Golf Gift
The PRG X Guinness collection solves one of golf's most persistent problems - finding a gift for a golfer who already has everything they need in the bag. A Guinness golf accessory is specific enough to feel thoughtful, affordable enough to work as a standalone gift, and enjoyable enough that it'll get used rather than sitting in a drawer. For a golfer who appreciates Guinness as much as they appreciate golf, it's one of those gifts that genuinely lands. Birthdays, Christmas, a round won - the occasion practically picks itself.
PRG's Approach to Golf Accessories
PRG has carved out a distinctive space in the golf accessories market by understanding that not every golfer wants their bag to look like a tour caddie's setup. The brand produces accessories that bring lightness and personality to the game - products that reflect the fact that golf is supposed to be enjoyable, and that your equipment can reflect that without compromising on quality or function. The Guinness collaboration is a natural fit for that philosophy, and the result is a collection that feels genuinely coherent rather than a licensing exercise that doesn't quite work.
The PRG X Guinness collection is one of the most enjoyable ranges to land at Clarkes Golf - officially licensed Guinness branding on headcovers and accessories that bring genuine personality to the course. Whether you're treating yourself or shopping for a golfer who has a soft spot for a good pint and a good round, this collection is worth a look. Stock is limited, so if something catches your eye it's worth acting on it.
