At the core of the ZXi7 is Srixon's i-Forged construction, where proprietary condensed forging inserts strengthen the hosel area, freeing up the rest of the single-piece body to be made from softer S15C steel for an exceptionally soft, responsive feel. Directly behind the sweet spot sits PureFrame iQ, a wider, thicker ridge of that same soft steel, shaped using AI-assisted simulation to stiffen the impact zone, reduce face deformation and lift MOI - all while using less mass than the previous generation. Underneath, the Tour V.T. Sole combines specific sole widths, bounce angles and notches to help the club glide smoothly through fairway, rough and sand, even when contact is made slightly behind the ball.

Scoring performance is handled by a progressive groove design: wider grooves on the 3i-7i support strong, penetrating ball flight, while deeper, closer-set grooves on the 8i-AW shed grass and debris to maximise spin on approach shots, with laser milling between every groove adding extra friction in all conditions. The set comes fitted with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Mid 115 steel shaft (S300 flex) for a mid launch and mid spin trajectory, paired with a Golf Pride Tour Velvet 360 grip for a secure, tour-standard feel in the hands.
