The unique PLD – Putting Lab Design – offers market-leading innovation for enhanced stability, feel and forgiveness. Each new PING PLD putter is fully milled from 303 forged stainless steel. The Aggressive Milling Pattern (AMP) of the new face-milling design face features deep-milled grooves that reduce the amount of metal on the putter face in contact with the ball at impact. The result is a softer feel, optimised sound and consistent roll.
Inspired by multiple PGA winner Viktor Hovland, the Ping PLD DS 72 Putter is a mid-mallet with clean lines, perpendicular and parallel visual cues, and single sightline for superior alignment to help you sink more putts. It features a double-bend shaft and is best suited to players with a straight back and through putting stroke.
