Each new PING PLD putter is fully milled from 303 forged stainless steel. The Aggressive Milling Pattern (AMP) of the new face-milling design face features deep-milled grooves that reduce the amount of metal on the putter face in contact with the ball at impact. The result is a softer feel, optimised sound and consistent roll.

The Ping PLD Prime Tyne 4 Putter is a mallet putter with a short slant hosel that features the deepest toe hang of the PLD range and is most suited to players with a stronger arc to their putter stroke. It has a distinctive MOI fang shape design with a single white sightline to maintain focus on the impact area. This is designed to assist golfers who tend to hit putts away from the centre of the face.
