Grain Flow Forged in the legendary Mizuno facility in Hiroshima, Japan, the Pro 221 are the ultimate muscleback iron. With refinements in shape and weight placement, they are constructed from 1025E Pure Select mild carbon steel for the timeless Mizuno look. The soft copper underlay produces the softest and purest feel for a uniquely satisfying sensation at impact.
At address, the Pro 221 incorporates precision bevelling with a thinner top edge and shorter profile but without any loss of playability. A thicker impact area for increased playability has been created by relocating clubhead mass from the heel into the main muscle pad. The 3-iron to the PW feature the shortest centre of gravity used in a Mizuno iron which helps to shape shots, and the 8–PW have noticeably reduced in size for more compact scoring irons than predecessors.
