Scotty Cameron 2024 Phantom 5s Golf Putter | Right Hand
Crafted for a putting stroke that follows a straight-back-straight-through path, the Phantom 5s has a similar profile to its counterparts but features a straight shaft positioned at zero-offset for a face-balanced option, providing an unobstructed view of the leading edge for proper alignment in the popular compact mallet design. A simple line on the top line further aids in alignment, simplifying face squaring and aiming. The elegant smoke hue of the cherry dots on the cavity adds to the tonal theme. Reflecting the line's use of multiple materials for balance and feel, the Phantom 5s combines precision-milled 303 stainless steel, customized sole weights, and lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum. The face is dual-milled for a Tour-inspired texture, and the specially designed grip fits seamlessly in-hand for a fully immersive experience.
The new Phantom mallet utilizes a design approach that combines complementary materials to achieve optimal performance at a desired length and weight. This is achieved by integrating precisely milled 303 stainless steel with lightweight 6061 aircraft aluminum, along with advanced vibration damping technology.
The use of zero-offset, a single milled sight line, and milling marks on the flange, along with the curved back wings, creates a visually appealing pattern that aids confident alignment at address.
Each model in the Phantom line includes a specialized Full Contact paddle-style grip for optimal handling. This custom-designed grip is tapered and uniquely shaped to provide a comfortable and reliable hold, with a "chain link" texture similar to the Tour-preferred "Baby T". Its larger flat surface also helps improve face angle awareness, making it easier to square up to the ball at address, even in varying weather conditions.
